Since 2021, I have operated as Jennings Handyman Services with the goal of providing Eureka and northern Humboldt County with home, rental, and property maintenance services that combine professionalism, high quality craftsmanship, and excellent customer service. I strive to make building maintenance easy and affordable for every client, whether residential or commercial. Here are the most commonly asked questions I am asked.
Where are you located?
I am located in Eureka, California. My service area extends from Mckinleyville, CA in the north to Fortuna, CA in the south. Repairs requested outside of this area are subject to additional fees to compensate for travel time and costs.
What kind of repairs do you do?
All of them! My motto is: From the rooftops to the grassroots, and everything in between. No matter what kinds of repairs your building needs, no matter how small, you'll find your solution.
Do you work on rentals and commercial buildings?
Yes. I cater to commercial clients as well, and can make special accommodations to help you keep your business operations smoothly while repairs take place.
What forms of payment do you accept?
To make it as easy as possible for my customers to do business with me, I accept cash, check, credit and debit cards, and NFC payments.
Are you insured?
Yes. I carry general liability insurance, and can present proof upon request.
Are you licensed?
I am a licensed business, not a licensed contractor. This means you'll find that my prices are a bit lower than a contractor's, as I have less insurance and overhead. However, it also limits the size of jobs I can accept as well. If you're looking for small repairs to your home, I can certainly help with that. But if you're looking to remodel or add additions to your home, then I can't accept your job.
Do you guarantee your work?
Absolutely. I stand by my work, and only use the best materials available for my repairs. I guarantee all of my work for the life of the materials used, and if there is ever a fault, I will perform the necessary repairs free of charge.
